Payment Methods

Currency
All prices on trysoftrain.com are displayed, and all transactions are processed, in Australian Dollars (AUD). If your payment method is held in a different currency, your bank or card issuer may apply conversion fees or exchange-rate adjustments; these are outside our control. Any refund will be issued in AUD to your original payment method, and the amount you receive may differ slightly from the amount originally paid due to exchange-rate fluctuations.
Pricing & Promotions
The price charged is the price displayed at checkout at the time you place your order, including any discounts or promotional offers applied. Promotional prices are valid only for the stated promotional period and cannot be applied retroactively to earlier orders.
Taxes
Where applicable, taxes such as GST are calculated and displayed automatically during checkout based on your shipping address. The total amount shown at checkout is the final amount you will be charged.
Order Confirmation
Once your order has been completed successfully, you will receive an order confirmation email at the address provided during checkout, itemising your order and the total amount paid. Please retain this email — it serves as your proof of purchase.
Subscriptions (Where Offered)
If you purchase a product on a subscription basis, such as replacement filters, the recurring price and billing frequency are shown clearly before you subscribe and on each order confirmation. By subscribing, you authorise softrain to charge your payment method on the stated schedule until you cancel. You can cancel at any time via your account or by emailing support@trysoftrain.com; cancellation stops all future charges. Charges already processed are non-refundable except as required by law or as set out in our Refund Policy.
Payment Security
We take the security of your payment information seriously. All transactions on trysoftrain.com are processed through Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant payment infrastructure using industry-standard encryption. We never store your full card details on our own systems.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you have a question or concern about a charge, please contact us at support@trysoftrain.com before filing a dispute with your bank or payment provider — in almost all cases we can resolve the issue faster and more personally. If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed, we may pause related services or shipments while the matter is being resolved.

softrain reserves the right to update or modify these billing terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. By making a purchase on trysoftrain.com, you agree to the billing terms in effect at the time of your order.
